What does this status mean?
Meaningful delivery has occurred, but the stated commitment is incomplete.
Status describes delivery. Confidence describes how strong the available evidence is.
Original manifesto wording
“We will establish a fast track court in the state dedicated to hearing cases pertaining to crimes against women and children and formulate a law to safeguard the life, honor and dignity of the women of Goa.”
Our Assessment
Partial. The promise is to establish a fast-track court in Goa dedicated to hearing cases pertaining to crimes against women and children. Government of Goa Official Gazette material confirms a POCSO Court/Fast Track Court at Panaji, constituted under the POCSO Act by notification dated 12-02-2020, and a 2025 notification appointed a Special Public Prosecutor for CBI cases in that POCSO Fast Track Court. This supports the child/POCSO fast-track component, but the court predates the 2022 manifesto and approved sources found do not confirm a new post-2022 fast-track court dedicated to both crimes against women and children. Status partial rather than fulfilled.
