Complete implementation of NEP 2020 across Goa

Partial. The promise requires completion of National Education Policy 2020 implementation across the state education system. The Government of Goa has implemented NEP in successive phases. An official February 2025 circular records implementation at Balvatika 1 during 2023-24, Balvatika 2 and Grade 9 during 2024-25, and Grade 6 and Grade 10 during 2025-26. SCERT has also introduced NEP-aligned state curriculum frameworks, academic calendars, new curricular areas and assessment arrangements. These constitute substantial implementation rather than a policy announcement alone. However, no approved source confirms completed implementation of all NEP provisions across every foundational, preparatory, middle, secondary and higher-secondary grade, or across the entire technical and higher-education system. The continued publication of phased implementation circulars and academic frameworks also indicates that the transition remains in progress. Status partial.
