Our Assessment
Major shortfall. The Kapu Welfare Corporation is operational and received roughly Rs 170 crore in 2024-25 (largely scholarship reimbursements), but this is far below the manifesto commitment of a Rs 15,000 crore Kapu corporation fund. Marked low-confidence on-track given the large gap between the corpus promised and the amount flowing. Approved/government citation to be attached.
